This is a book about a tiny phrase length of 15 letters in the Greek New Testament (John 1: 1c), and how it’s translation into modern languages reflect the changes in the political landscape, morale and cultural norms in the last 500 years. Challenging traditional translation "and the Word was God", The author presents compelling evidence that not only must the verse is translated as "and the Word was God"But without understanding the original meaning of John, modern readers are deprived of a valuable gem of Scriptural truth. It is directed towards pastors, teachers and students of God's Word.
